AS9100:2016
In September 2011, BTC was one of the first interconnect distributors to earn the AS9100 Revision C Certificate (Quality Management System Standard for the Aerospace Industry). This certification is supported by the world's leading aerospace companies and represents that BTC meets or exceeds the requirements of the prime aerospace and defense contractors.
BTC first earned its AS9100 Rev B Certification in September 2009 and elected to upgrade to Rev. C to meet the industry's newest and highest standards of quality.
AS9100 is the QMS standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries and is governed by the IAQG of SAE International. The mission of the IAQG is to improve product quality and on-time delivery of products. This is achieved through the implementation of initiatives intended to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.
BTC has changed 3rd party QMS registrars to DNV Corp. in order to be consistent with their FDH counterparts. This is BTC's most recent AS9100:2016 Certificate.
ISO 9001:2015
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification registered with DNV Corp. assures you of our commitment to continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction. BTC first earned the ISO certification in October 2005.
MIL-STD-790
BTC is classified as a MIL-STD-790 Category C distributor authorized to perform assembly of qualified products including part marking requirements.
ITAR
Export compliance is taken very seriously at BTC and we stringently follow US export laws. These export laws cover defense articles, defense services and technical data. ITAR is product-specific, not application-specific, and it does not affect all military connectors.
BTC is ITAR Registered with the United States Department of State.
