Emerson's Trompeter line has upgraded their line of installer tools and BTC can supply them to you. The new tool, designated as the CT5, requires 25 percent less physical effort to achieve the same results as the CT4L, providing a definite advantage to the installer over the tool it replaces.
BTC Electronic Components (BTC) – a value-added, stocking connector distributor headquartered in Wake Forest, NC – is pleased to announce the expansion of their product roster. Trompeter – one of BTC’s 31 franchised/authorized lines - announces an upgrade to their line of installer tools, specifically the outer crimp sleeve tool which captures the braid of a coaxial cable to the connector body. Success of this crimp termination is essential in delivering both the electrical and mechanical connector integrity associated with Trompeter connectors.
The new tool, designated as the CT5, requires 25 percent less physical effort to achieve the same results as the CT4L, providing a definite advantage to the installer over the tool it replaces. All of this is accomplished while keeping the physical size of the tool within the same dimensional profile. Trompeter – part of Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson - has been an industry leader in rugged long term reliable terminations.
BTC stocks and distributes a wide range of connectors, accessories and tools. The addition of Trompeter’s New Generation of Installer Tools further expands the company’s robust product roster. Since 1980, they have been solving their customers’ most difficult connector problems and recently became the first connector distributor to earn the AS9100 Rev C Certification.
