Hot Tin Dipping

The hot tin dip process makes ferrous and non-ferrous materials more resistant to corrosion and wear by extending the life of the material with oxidation protection. BTC offers standard 60/40 Tin / Lead (Sn/Pb) dipping for military and medical device products that are exempt from EU RoHS compliance. BTC provides dipping in compliance with military specifications. A RoHS compliant (lead free) alternative is available as needed.

Design and Technical Assistance

Our experienced engineering team can help you refine your design to reduce your manufacturing costs. Upon review of your drawings they can provide application specific designs and suggest alternative parts that may be more readily available.

BTC continues to work with our manufacturers to provide verification of compliance to material restrictions of RoHS, as proposed by the RoHS Technical Adaptation Committee.

BTC will make every effort to provide certification (when available) of the components we supply or when certification is not available we will provide you with a certified compliant alternative.
