AS9100 Rev C

In September 2011, BTC one of the first interconnect distributor to earn the AS9100 Revision C Certificate (Quality Management System Standard for the Aerospace Industry). This certification is supported by the world's leading aerospace companies and represents that BTC meets or exceeds the requirements of the prime aerospace and defense contractors.

BTC first earned its AS9100 Rev B Certification in September 2009 and elected to upgrade to Rev. C to meet the industry's newest and highest standards of quality. The audits were conducted by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., an internationally accredited registrar for management systems standards. The company completed the requirements on their first attempt.

AS9100 is the QMS standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries and is governed by the IAQG of SAE International. The mission of the IAQG is to improve product quality and on-time delivery of products. This is achieved through the implementation of initiatives intended to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.

ISO 9001:2008

Our ISO 9001:2008 certification through UL assures you of our commitment to continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction. BTC first earned the ISO certification in October 2005.

MIL-STD-790

ITAR

Export compliance is taken very seriously at BTC and we stringently follow US export laws. These export laws cover defense articles, defense services and technical data. ITAR is product-specific, not application-specific, and it does not affect all military connectors.

Our ITAR Certification Letter from the United States Department of State was issued in February 2012 with Registrant Code: K-2490.
