Filtered Hermetic Connectors

Filtered Hermetic Connectors provide all the benefits of a hermetic connector, plus EMI protection for sensitive circuits. A fused glass insert within a single shell housing protects the filter assembly. This unique design provides the potential for the filtered hermetic connector to tolerate high levels of static pressure in concert with low leakage.

Typically, the filtered connector uses two manufacturing technologies to offer the end-user with the most cost-effective performance across the frequency range. All filter contacts within the connector share that same ground plane, which is connected to the connector shell.
