EN2997 is a European Association of Aerospace Industries (AECMA) standard for aircraft engine connectors, and is now being utilized in the United States by many engine suppliers. Derived from MIL-DTL-83723 Series III specifications, the EN2997 series offers improved high temperature, shock and vibration resistance combined with interfacial sealing. These environments are typically seen in aircraft engines, landing gear and sensor systems.
BTC stocks the J-Tech/Conesys EN2997 high temperature environmental and the Y and YE class of HCC Industries/Sealtron hermetically sealed connectors. We have the unique ability to supply mated pairs of plugs and receptacles from stock, offering our customers a single vendor for all their EN2997 needs.
EN2997 Environmental Connectors
BTC offers in-house assembly of the J-Tech/Conesys EN2997 K, KE, S and SE classes of stainless steel firewall and high temperature firewall connectors. BTC will stock the components and assemble the connectors to order in shell sizes 8 through 28, while offering two-day assembly turnaround.

EN2997 Hermetic Connectors
HCC Industries/Sealtron is the only US manufacturer with European Association of Aerospace Manufacturers (AECMA) approval for EN2997 hermetic connectors. HCC Industries is qualified and meets the rigorous European Military Standard requirements in order to supply European, and North American customers building for European applications, with approved MIL-STD technology. The Sealtron EN2997 circular hermetic connector meets the unique requirements for the European and North American defense and aerospace industries, as well as other industries using variations of mil spec hermetic connectors.
